The Dennison Railroad Depot Museum is excited to announce its upcoming 2025 feature exhibition, “Shoes to Fill: Victory Begins at Home,” opening on April 2nd. This exhibit will highlight the untold stories of the everyday heroes who kept the homefront strong during World War II. When the men of fighting age were called to serve overseas, the workforce was left with a significant void. Women, children, and those unable to enlist answered the call to fill these roles, stepping up to support the war effort in a multitude of ways.
