This is an accessibility statement from Dennison Railroad Depot Museum.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. 2024 Depot Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We went through the WCAG guidelines and made sure to apply the following:
1) Keyboard navigation.
2) Image alt text.
3) Color contrast.
4) Heading levels.
5) no animation or hidden content.
6) Tested website on 3 web browsers and 12 different devices.
