Join us at the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, a National Historic Landmark, for a day of fun interaction and education that will immerse students into the 1940s, when the Railroad was King and our country was involved in World War II. Students will experience this important time period as they travel through a variety of activity stations throughout the museum that will include activities such as: planting in our Victory Garden, preparing sandwiches at the Canteen for the next Troop Train, reenacting the soldier and volunteer roles at the Canteen, learning about the Railroad 5 Man crew, comparing a Passenger Engine to a Yard Engine, climbing through our caboose, writing hobo language on a tree, and walking through a 1940s Living room.
